Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL, 3.4L, dark charcoal leather interior, A/C, auto, with 90,425 miles on it. Really good fuel economy mid to upper 20's. I have owned this car for over 13 years. This car is mechanically perfect. I can make this claim because I am one of the most OCD technicians on the face of the planet and I had COMPLETELY gone through this vehicle to give to my 20 year old son. He actually ended up buying a truck that is all jacked up and "red necked out" and could not afford insurance on both vehicles. So here it is. The vehicle was parked in storage about 6 years ago when there was a transmission problem. I pulled it out of storage and went through the entire vehicle. This is what I did: transmission is completely rebuilt and the updates have been installed, new brakes all the way around, new tires, new power steering rack and tie rod ends, alignment, water pump, major tune up (plugs, wires, PCV, fuel filter, oil change), timing belt with the tensioner and idler pulleys replaced at that time, new serpentine belt and tensioner, new battery. All items listed have 100 miles or less on them with the exception of the rear brakes. They have approximately 5000 miles on them. I have invested over $3400 just in parts on this vehicle over the past few months because I wanted my son to have a safe vehicle and I spare no expense when it comes to my family. This runs and drives flawlessly. The body would be almost perfect if my boss wouldn't have scuffed the front bumper with the snow blower attachment on the Bobcat. It just scuffed the paint on the front bumper cover. There is one smaller than dime sized rust spot on it at the left rear fender where my son accidentally shot it with his BB gun. Other than that the body is fantastic. The interior is near flawless. I had hit a deer with the right front corner of the vehicle back in 2000 (if I remember right) and ironically enough, I was driving to go deer hunting!!. I drove the vehicle to an Oldsmobile dealer to be repaired. I insisted they used all new GM parts and being that I am an ASE certified technician, I went over every inch of the vehicle to make sure that the work was completed correctly. The only thing that is broken is the center console latch and armrest. My son forced it open when he was a little guy. I have one more item to take care of before the car goes, and that is to replace the A/C compressor. I do not like the way the clutch sounded so I am going to replace it. I already have purchased the parts and I should be able to get to it this week. This has been a very, very nice car for my family and has served me well. It is a tragedy to let this sit and collect dust so it is time for another family to love her. Thank you for your time.
