This is truly a rare grand classic Southern California find. When you first enter the vehicle, the elegant aroma of leather permeates the air as if you were stepping into a leather shop. It’s interior has been recently re-upholstered in high quality LEATHER (say goodbye to MBTex!). There are 0 scratches or tears, and the carpet has been replaced to match. The headliner is in perfect condition, the interior is accented with beautiful woodwork on the dash without any cracks or peeling. The glass is clear with no signs of any clouding. The power windows go up and down on all four doors. The paint and body are in EXCELLENT condition, straight and without any dents or dings at all. The unmolested cream colored paint is accented with beautiful chrome all around. All rubbers and weather stripping are in good condition, the undercarriage is all original with no signs of damage, nor patching. I can see no signs of rust on the chassis, not even in the door jambs or trunk! The unique chassis design and the perfect harmony of the suspension elements results in luxurious riding comfort coupled with quite extraordinary, safe road holding. One has to drive them to appreciate their merits fully. The car starts right up at the turn of a key, and it handles and steers better than any 280 I have driven.
