This organization currently holds clear title obtained in January of this year. Net Proceeds from this sale will go toward funding this 24/hr a day safe haven, counseling and outreach services center to assist runaway youths and those in crisis throughout Hampton Roads with goal of reuniting families. Currently, this vehicle is offered for sale only on eBay and listing will not be withdrawn after receiving a bid, until sold to the high bidder. It's convertible season! This is a GREAT second owner (since 2006 until donated) 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible in Very Good cosmetic and mechanical condition with an outstandingly clean, excellent condition interior. It will be a great deal to the winner - lots of life left in this classic sport beauty - AND you will ride knowing you have purchased a great used car and helped families in crisis in the process! If this is an appealing combination, or if you just seek a great classic sports car at an outstanding value, read on! The exterior is in very good condition overall, fire-engine red as the photos depict, with black weatherproofed soft top and glass back window with rear defroster. No major damage, however we wish to disclose (please see photos) the following exterior body cosmetic condition issues: a surface rust patch on the passenger side quarter panel forward of the wheel, front cracking and minor dent at front of hood drivers side center, left rear fender crush and scrape damage above wheel, left and right top of rear bumper shows some oxidation discoloration, right lower rear bumper cover has exterior scrape damage, plastic brake light cover at top of trunk (below spoiler) shows surface oxidation, right headlight plastic cover shows oxidation fogging. These are surface and cosmetic issues that are visible on close inspection, but as you may note, are not easily noticeable from a distance (except fender damage described) and do not detract from the overall lines and appearance of the car. The convertible top is in good shape overall - there is one 4-5" seam split beginning (as shown) above the driver's side rear rib support, and some minor trim wear by the driver's side rear window. The vehicle was washed just prior to photos obtained, and no interior leaks were evident at that time from this area. Top seals soundly, rubber seals and door seals are supple and without cracking or rot. Top operates electrically via center console button, and lowers quickly and raises smoothly, released and secured by two manually operated latches above the front visors. The interior is almost immaculate. Dark Gray in color, with leather front and rear seats in very good shape with only one small cracking patch at the driver's side left hip support (as shown). The passenger seat does show about a 10' stripe 'stain' that may clean off. Rears of those seats are fine, and the rear seats appear rarely if ever used. Carpeting is in excellent shape for a 11 year old vehicle, and comes with full carpet floor mats in good condition. No major scrapes or marks on the door panels or interior paneling and trim. Inside top is padded, and in very good condition. Engine and transmission is mechanically sound, starts right up, runs smoothly and drives very well - in typical Ford fashion. We do not know when it was fully serviced last. 5-speed manual transmission with smoothly operating clutch and floor console shifter. 3.8 Liter V6 Engine in sound mechanical condition - drive belt in very good condition. Brakes are good, and rotors have good wear left. Tires show good tread wear left as can be seen. This is a nice used vehicle with plenty of life and excitement left. Odometer shows 107,478 miles at time of photos. It is currently not being driven and stored outdoors at the current owner's property.
