For sale is a 2001 Mercury Sable. The car has been sitting in my garage for a year now. I finally made the last payment and have title now. I just took everything out of the car. I had to jump the car to get it started. The battery isn't holding a charge. It did start and run though. It did idle real bad though. I remember the car putting before it totally went out of commison. I don't know what is was from though. I stopped using the car because the springs broke on me while I was driving. It punchered the tires on the drivers side. When this happened it leaked transfluid from the cv joint, it looks like it punchered the black vinyl or rubber casing on it. I had to have the car towed home when the springs broke on me. The tow truck driver dropped the car off on my driveway. I was able to back car in garage. I am not a mechanic so I don't know what it would cost to fix this. Prior to all of this all the power windows and locks, heat and air, radio, horn, windshield wipers etc. worked. I can't garauntee that it works know. I did have the radio on and rolled down the windows today though. The car is very dirty.It will need a good cleaning. The engine has about 100000 miles on it. I had to have it replaced a few years back. There are dents and scratches on the car. There are no cracks in the windows though. The car would have to be towed out of here.Unless you can change the springs,cv joint and 2 tires in my garage while I'm here. Someone did mention that they think it was my catalytic converters that were clogged thats why the car idles bad. It was driveable though. I tried to mention everything I know about the car. It just sat for a year so thats why my description is all over the place.
