Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a base model Ramcharger, and the only options are a/c, power steering, pwr brakes. I am second owner, I bought to put in a cummins motor, but found it too original and too nice and runs to good to butcher up. It has a 318 small block two barrel carb, fairly rare four speed w/ lockout hubs. No fulltime 4 wheel drive here, which in my humble opinion is much better. It is rust free except there was a small amount under the mats on floor boards, due to wet jute not drying out. I por15 the area and repaired it, then put in new jute and covering, the rear area was torn in a few places so I removed that and put in the thick mat (like pickup bed). I also put in silver star head lights, not the seal beam, but the kind you can upgrade to any bulb you want by just replacing the small bulb. It has the hyway gear ratio of 3:23 which is great for hyway, since you have a low/hi transfer case. There are a few small dings here and there, but nothing that takes away the looks. Brakes are 80%, tires 70%, no leaks, blockheater, also lower rad hose heater, Oh I also put in new door and rear gate rubber seals. I know this sounds a little anal to do all this and then sell it, but I am a helicopter pilot and like things to be as good as possible, plus I enjoy the work (gearhead type) This truck runs down the road tight, no sloppyness, I do know the a/c needs charged, but the compressor is good becuse I checked it out, Clutch is very good as is the rest drive train. I any questions out there fire away, you will get honest answers as I consider myself a honorable man with integrity and are not about to change this just to sell a vehicle, check my feedback if you care too. Thanks for all you other gearheads for taking a gander Oh just for a little more info, I was going to put in a cummins 4bt which I fiqure left stock would yield 30-35 mpg and be lighter than the 6bt, I know I could add more info, but I can't thing of off hand. Oh and a 750.00 dollar nonrefundable deposit req within 24 hours of auction end, Fly in drive home
