I am offering my 2006 Honda VFR800 (Interceptor) for Sale. It has the Pearl White Metallic paint and is truly a work of art. I am a 62 year old rider and recently purchased my 1st “Cruiser” bike. I am the 2nd adult owner of this fantastic bike. It was purchased new in 2008 and has apx. 6600 miles on it. The photos don't do it justice. It is the easiest bike I've ever sold to represent. It is in Mint condition. No scratches, dents, scuffs, scrubs, or any other detractors. I put a section of "clear bra" material which was professionally installed to protect the lower plastic from stone chips and sand-blasting. It has some very nice "tasteful" modifications which make it sound and perform much better. The first is a full Leo-Vince (Dual) Exhaust which sounds fantastic. It has a nice tinted windscreen (Zero Gravity, I believe) and, Heli-bars added to make the ergonomics more pleasant. It also has a “Throttle-meister” cruise control installed. The tires are almost new. Most likely you're familiar with this bike and how for the last 30 years has been voted the best "all-around" bike made. If you didn't know that, do some research and follow the progression from the ones first made in the 80’s, to the 1st Vtec models, to the introduction of the VFR800’s. This is a very easy bike to ride and is the best of both worlds between Sport & Touring. It was bought new by the 1st owner in 2008. It has been adult-owned and babied since new. There isn’t a thing to report as a detraction. The Exhaust is pure Italian sound and is unbelievable. I encourage anyone interested to call me at (719) 210-9050 up until 10 pm Mt. Standard time. Shipping will be your responsibility, but I will bring the bike to my office if that saves on Pick-up costs. I have used The Federal Companies (google them) and they might be a little higher, but insurance is included and they will pick-up and/or deliver to a private residence at no extra cost. They will quote you a time-frame and then keep it. This is a No-Reserve Auction, I am starting bidding at $ 5,400 and a buy-it-now at $ 5,500. That way bidders know what they can get the bike for without having a reserve. Both numbers are well under either Kelly or NADA book values and those values are without the modifications and the low mileage. I bought the bike last year off of Craigslist (sight un-seen after several phone calls) and was totally pleased when I received the bike (especially after hearing the Leo Vinci exhaust), you will be too. I will accept Pay-Pal as a payment form if it is more convenient (and speed up release for shipping), but will invoice you for the apx. 2% sur-charge charged to me to collect it by Pay-Pal.
