Vehicle Detail

1. PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS, THANKS!!! 2. This car does not run. When it runs it will be freaking amazing. It will blow everyone's mind. 3. THIS CAR IS FOR LOCAL PICK UP- if you want to make other arrangements, AND ARE SERIOUS, please contact me, I may be able to bring it out to you. I WILL NOT SHIP THIS CAR OVERSEAS. If you are a scammer, don't bother messaging me. 4. If you want to see this car in person and live around here, I might possibly be able to do that for you. Again, message me. 5. I might have the title somewhere, I have been looking for it. If not, I will provide a bill of sale. Also, this car is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction at anytime. Backstory: The car’s prior engine died after breaking a head gasket down at the Silver Dollar drag way here in Georgia (out past Butler). The engine kicked the bucket when I started it up the next day- shot a valve through the piston and decimated everything. I had intended to rebuild it with a better engine and make the car truly “deathproof”, but after being laid off and still job hunting, I have got to let this car go. It has been sitting outside for a bout a year- was under a car port, but has been sitting out in the back of a shop for the past few months. I learned how to drive on a stick shift, so you don’t have to worry that I drove this thing like crap. I rock at driving. Ok, now that we have that out of the way! ------- THE RUN DOWN: ------- THE ENGINE: 350 bored .060 over, has crane cam and forged pistons. I bought this from a mechanic friend up in Atlanta for 1,300. It is pro-rated at 400+ horsepower. I'm not blowing smoke in rude places, or making crap up. He originally built this for his father, but he had to sell the car they were working on. It has been installed, with new motor mounts. This is all I remember about the engine, unfortunately I lost the papers I had with it. I have chrome valve covers somewhere… if I can find them, they are included. The guy I bought the engine from fabricated his own and I thought they looked so freakin’ cool I had him put those on instead. IGNITION: Mallory hyfire distributor with hyfire box and MSD coil. They have been kept in the shop in ziploc bags to keep them safe from rust, etc. Does need a new wiring harness. Oh, and I have the original keys to the car as well. TRANSMISSION: Muncie Rock Crusher, 3925661. This is the most solid, bad a** transmission I have ever driven and I’m NOT just saying that because I’m trying to sell this. You can see some pics of it in the album. Someone stole the drive shaft, so I don’t have that, and the gears in the back do the one wheel squeal as opposed to both back tires moving at the same time. Also, I ran this with Royal Purple gear oil and have 3 more bottles of it that are included. SHIFTER: Hurst, with the white ball on the top. RADIO/AC: It has neither. It has a spot where the radio was, but it’s not there anymore. The windows are manual, as are the locks, and they all work perfectly. THE INTAKE: Edelbrock intake with Holley 4bbl carb. if I remember correctly, it is a 750cfm double pumper. There's pictures in the album. EXHAUST: Older Hooker headers, I believe they are the Super comp (not the adjustable ones) and Mallory Red Hots. This car will sound like a beast. TIRES: Back ones are a little bit dry rotted- front ones are perfectly fine so it can be transported on a dolly. They have the hard to find Rally wheel hubcaps. PAINT JOB: I hope there's no copy right infringement- I created the stencil myself, which was inspired by Tarantino's "GRINDHOUSE: DEATHPROOF". So if there's any worry, there, the credit of the idea goes to him. NO BONDO ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR. RADIATOR: I think I have the original. I do not have the hoses. It will not come with the radiator if I can’t find it. SHOCKS: Great condition- bought new adjustable Summit Racing shocks a few months before it died. INTERIOR: Original headliner is in IMMACULATE condition! Still has the original seat belt clips. Seats are slighty teal and from a different Nova (this was done before I bought it) Has Kelley green carpet which was also done before I bought it. DASH: Autometer oil pressure and Tachometer gauge, with other brand aftermarket water temp gauge. Old speedometer works perfectly. Whenever you go over 120 the needle will keep going down past the dash. Really great party trick to scare the crap out of your friends... bmwahaha..BODY: Back passenger and side passenger door have some dings- someone before me opened the door into a fence from the look of it, and left a crease. I backed into another car less awesome than mine, and it left a dent in the back bumper. This can be pulled out, and is noticeable in the pictures. Bushings are in decent condition. Hood needs bolts to be bolted back on, and I seem to have lost the hood pins. Back windshield is made of shatter-proof fiberglass I believe… it’s some kind of heavy duty plastic racing stuff. I don’t think it’s bullet proof glass, but I never planned on getting shot at so I was fine with it.LIGHTS: They all work, except for the interior light. Tail lights, head lights, they’re good.FLOOR PANS AND SUCH: Amazing condition. Seriously. I have some pictures up. There’s no rust through anywhere! The only rust problem is shown in the pictures, which is just the corner behind the wheel well on the two back tires and it’s not even that bad. If memory serves me right, this car started its life in Arizona- NEVER BEEN A NORTHERN CAR and you can tell! OTHER STUFF: Chrome fan & chrome water pump (manual not electric, already on engine). I also have a bag of lots of random nuts & bolts, as well as the original water pump and alternator that was on it before. Those come with it. Oh, and the car was featured in the front page of a local newspaper here, and I still have a copy of it that will come with the car if you’d like it. I’d frame it, it’s cool. **************************PAYMENT: I require a 100$ deposit through PayPal. If I do not receive this in 3 days I will offer the car to the second highest bidder, and so on. Payment must be brought in form of Cashiers’ Check or Money Order please. Payment must be received within one week of the end of auction unless otherwise ok’d by me. TRANSPORT: I will possibly be able to bring this to you, and the charge will be per mile at twenty cents per mile plus a 35 I-have-to-pay-my-brother-to-help fee. ************************ LAST WORDS: This is a project car. Yes, there are some random pieces missing, but to someone with knowledge and time and money that I don’t have will make quick work of putting this together and having a really, really cool car.Yes, it’s a four door. That means you can take your kids out with you and they can watch people in Hondas cry when you fly by them. It’ll teach them important life lessons… like muscle cars are awesome, and having a neon yellow and green car with lights underneath is lame. It’ll make you the coolest parent when you pick them up from soccer practice. It also makes it kind of a “sleeper”, except for the awesome roar it’s going to make when you’re driving. Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!****By the way, there is a link to more pictures on my photobucket, but the basics are here on the page****http://s760.photobucket.com/albums/xx245/amphi_gory/Nova%20PIctures/------ Thanks for looking! :D
