THIS CAR STARTED OUT AS A COMPLETE ORIGIONAL RUST FREE / NO PATCH PANEL CAR THAT UNDERWENT A COMPLETE NUT AND BOLT / FRAME OFF RESTORATION ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO...WITH A LOT OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL...AND ONLY DRIVEN A LITTLE OVER 11K MILES SINCE IT WAS BUILT. THE CAR RETAINS IT'S ORIGIONAL FRAME, THE FRONT END HAS A 4" DROPPED AXLE, GM DISC BRAKES, WITH SPLIT WISHBONE FRONT SUSPENSION. THE REAR END IS A GM 12 BOLT WITH 3:23 GEARS, A SWAY BAR WITH LEAF SPRING SUSPENSION WITH DRUM BRAKES...GIVING THE CAR A KILLER STANCE, AND MAKING IT A EXCELLENT HANDELING AND DRIVING CAR. THE CAR HAS A BUILT SMALL BLOCK CHEVROLET 305 WITH A 327/350HP CAM, A EDELBROCK ALUMINUM INTAKE WITH A 600 cfm CARBURETOR, HUGGER BLOCK HEADERS, BILLET VALVE COVERS AND ENOUGH CHROME AND POLISHED ALUMINUM TO BLIND YOU, A 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT WAS ALSO REBUILT, BOTH WITH NO KNOWN NEGATIVE ISSUES. THIS CAR IS VERY ECONOMICAL TO DRIVE...YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP A EVERY TEXACO STATION, BUT STILL HAS ALOT OF POWER AND RUNS OUT REAL STRONG. THE BODY IS ALL ORIGIONAL HENRY FORD STEEL, EXCEPT THE RUNNING BOARD CAPS, IT HAS BEEN NOSED, DECKED AND A GAS CAP DOOR HAS BEEN ADDED TO ENHANCE THE LOOKS OF THE CAR...IT IS VERY STRAIGHT...BLACK PAINT DOESN'T LIE. THE INTERIOR STILL IS FRESH AND CLEAN WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS AND REFLECTS THE ERA THE CAR WAS BUILT, A LAVENDER TWEED OVER THE ORIGIONAL FRONT AND REAR SEATS WITH SCULPTURED DOOR PANELS, AND OF COURSE ICE COLD BUILT IN A/C, IDIDIT STEERING COLUMN WITH TILT, BILLET LEATHER WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL, VDO GOLD SERIES GAGUES, AND BILLET DASH KNOBS. AT THE TIME OF RESTORATION ALL NEW GLASS AND RUBBER SEALS IN THE FRONT AND REAR WINDOWS, COWL VENT, AND TRUNK WERE INSTALLED, AS WAS MOST OF THE CHROME AND STAINLESS REPLACED. NOT A HIGH END SHOW QUALITY CAR ANYMORE BECAUSE OF TIME, BEING DRIVEN, AND A FEW PAINT CHIPS AND TOUCH UP SPOTS, BUT STILL VERY NICE, AND A VERY SHARP LOOKING CAR. THE CAR RIDES ON POLISHED AMERICAN RACING WHEELS WITH 195X75X14 FRONT, AND 225X70X15 REAR WITH NEW RADIAL TIRES. THE CAR LOOKS RIGHT, SITS RIGHT, RUNS RIGHT, AND SOUNDS RIGHT...I HATE TO SEE IT GO, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A COUPE....AND ONE HAS COME UP FOR SALE, SO I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL THIS SEDAN...AND IT IS PRICED TO SELL FAST.
