1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 I bought the car with a blown head gasket and I intended to completely restore it, but this is as far as I got. This car runs but blows smoke. The engine has been rebuilt and less than 200 miles were put on it since. A new clutch was also put in. The heads were not rebuilt, but were checked and I was told they didn't need to be. The car ran fine after rebuild but started to smoke one day when I started it after it had not been started for about a week, I don’t know why. I am thinking maybe a stuck valve or a timing issue, but just a guess. Brand new 18” Ruff Racing R280 chrome wheels and Falken Ziex ZE912–245/40 ZR18 tires that were $1400. The seats have brand new Katskins leather upholstery. The interior carpet is brand new also, originally was tan interior, now both the seats and carpet are black. Together this was over $1000. Brand new Sony X-plode stereo. The moon roof works but leaks. The front passenger fender is taken from another car that was originally white and is now just spray-painted black. The power antenna does not work and has a screw screwed into it. The rear bumper has a couple scrapes on it. Some nicks and dings on body and hood. Cracked driver side mirror. Tach not working. That’s all I can think of, really this would be a great start for a project car, the engine smoking might be an easy fix, but I don’t know. It blows too much smoke to be driven so you would have to have a way to get it home. Any questions please ask. Thanks.
