The top folds and unfolds freely and the seats are in pretty good shape. The trunk and body floors seem solid (Fred Flinstone would have to use the pedals). On Apr-01-11 at 15:52:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Another update: I installed new spark plugs to see if I could get the motor to run smoothly. The motor turns over and runs a bit then stalls. I believe it's flooded so I'll try to get it to run smoothly in the morning. On Apr-02-11 at 05:26:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Greetings all. Another update: I'm going to work on getting the motor to run smoothly today. During this new adventure of becoming a journeyman Midget mechanic I noticed a wrapped electric cord that I believe can be plugged in to heat the engine oil, so I'm going to employ it and see what happens. Also, many have asked about the brakes. They usually operated superbly. I went out one day thinking I would go for a drive. I started the car, went forward, pushed on the brake pedal and discovered there was no resistance at all, dinging the automatic waterer in front of the barn and knocking off the little yellow parking light located at the very front right of the car. That's pretty much when I decided I would sell this fickle friend. Oh yes, a bit more of the history; My son was visiting and he was in the process of learning to drive. We were out for breakfast and saw the 'for sale' posted car under a tree. We spoke to the owners, and we purchased it that day. I believe the frame was bent before I purchased it (since it has not been in an accident during my possession). We just excited buyers. My son and I had a blast while he learned to drive and I believe we really looked forward to his visits because of those experiences. Oh well, after he passed his driving test and moved on to a sensible car, I had the clutch replaced. It has about 4000 miles on it. On Apr-05-11 at 15:01:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Greetings all, I have been unable to get the engine to run smoothly. It turns over and over and over but does not seem to be getting fuel. I'm guessing there might be a possible fuel line blockage so I'm going to do some additional investigation. The plug that I discovered does indeed operate some sort of engine heater. The tires are relatively new.
