Vehicle Detail
Low Miles and a Modest Reserve! Up for your consideration is a 1976 Corvette Stingray. This particular vehicle is the L-48 model. It has a burgandy (Mahogany) exterior with the burgandy and off white triple pin striping. The interior is Buckskin (beige). It has the removable T-Top windows which come with the covers. It has the 350 cu. in. 180 hp V8 engine, an automatic transmission. It is being sold with 30,706 original miles. the engine was rebuilt in 2004 and has been running as all vettes should: SMOOTH AND POWERFUL! This vehicle comes with tons of optional equipment. The car has a clear title and has always been garaged and has never been in an accident. This Corvette has EXTREMELY LOW MILES for a vehicle this age. It also comes with a hidden security starter switch which is required to start the car. The car has been maintained and cared for regularly by the owner. Mechanically, it runs without any issues. The owner just had the A/C totally redone so the A/C blows nice and COLD. Everything inside and out is operational with the exception of the clock. Two years ago, the owner had the heater core replaced, and all the hoses and gaskets replaced as well. The paint looks good, but is believed not to be the original. It was purchased this color by the owner. The owner is selling this car because they are in the market for a late model BMW and are looking to make room in the garage for it. It is in excellent mechanical condition. Expect to keep this car around for many years to come! You or whoever drives it will be pleased with the classic power the Corvette Stingray is famous for. If you want a piece of American history and a true COLLECTOR CAR, at a very reasonable price, this is the one for you. Well worth its low reserve. Vehicle Information: Non-Smoker Powerful 8 Cylinder Engine 2 Doors T-Tops with covers Hidden Security Starter Switch High Performance Cast Aluminum Wheels A/C (just replace) AM/FM Radio Cassette Power Windows Power Locks Power Brakes BF Goodrich Tires Vinyl Upholstered Seats Power Steering Tilt Telescopic Steering Wheel Exterior Condition: The exterior of this vehicle is in outstanding condition. No dents or repair work have been done, as this car has never been in an accident. There is a scratch on the right T-top, that likely occurred when T-tops were being removed for day trip. The nose of the car appears to have some chipping of paint that likely occurred from parking too close to the garage wall. The left sided Stingray emblem has what appears to be some epoxy residue around it, that is barely noticeable (see photo). There is not much to say, other than it looks fantastic! The bottom of the vehicle has a couple of spots of deteriroration. The passenger's side foot well suffered from the result of a small heater core leak that went undetected and began to corrode the metal. As indicated earlier, the core was replaced but there still remains some damage to the foot well. The bottom looks like it has the normal wear and tear of a vehicle of this age and miles. Interiror Condition: Overall the interior is in remarkable shape. The upholstery looks good. Bucket seats have textured- vinyl and deep-pleated saddle-stitching. There is a crack on the back of each seat, along with a few nicks, but otherwise fine. The drivers inside door had a small spot of the vinyl to flake off at some time (see photo). Behind the seat backs are three carpeted storage compartments. These are a little tricky to open, but work fine. Instrument panel, gauges, and all electronics are fully functional with the exception of the clock. The T-Tops remove easily and do not leak when attached. Carpet is still in good condition. Rear view mirror and both side mirrors were replaced in 2010 using brand new parts purchased from Ecklers Antique Vehicles Catalog. We took several pictures so we could virtually show you the car from every angle. Our goal is not to leave anything to the imagination. If you have questions, by all means, ASK!
