This belongs to my father in law, who travels 9 months out of the year and never drives it. He is selling it due to his age and health conditions, as he is also looking to make his home in the Orient. This car is an original gem that is in great condition with a fresh new paint job! Engine starts up on the first try, and it runs nice and strong, coupled with automatic transmission that goes through gears easily and effortlessly. -Exterior For a daily driver, it’s original white exterior paint in pristine condition, and it has nice shine, but upon closer inspection, you can notice few blemishes and imperfections in it due to its age. Chrome is nice and complete, with no dings or dents, and it has beautiful shine and luster (please see pictures). Structurally this Mercedes is in good condition. Please remember that this car is over 40 years old, so some surface rust is to be expected, but I wasn’t able to spot any trouble areas on it. Soft top is in great condition, and it operates very easily. -Interior Interior is in great condition. Carpet was replaced and is in great shape, as well as the seats were redone with seat belts added. Dashboard is nice and clean and original Kienzle clock is complimenting its interior. Speedometer is not working, mileage was stopped just under 58k miles. -Engine & Transmission The original 2.3 straight six cylinder engine starts up on the first try and it is strong as ever. Spark Plugs were replaced few weeks ago, as well as the fresh oil change was done to it. It runs and idles as it should, with no problems. Automatic transmission is in great condition as well, and it goes through every gear nicely and effortlessly. Just put the key in and let the journey begin!
