I have to sell my classic truck, It runs and drives great, I drive 70 miles a day to work now and need something better on fuel especially as prices rise (possible trades are an option for economy car or bike). I brought this truck down from the high plains desert in colorado, I got about 14mpg we were loaded up for a move down here to Texas, It gets about 15-16mpg unloaded if you keep it under 70, much less of course in town. The previous owner had dozens of these older classics, It has absolutley no rust, and is incredibly straight, just has a couple of minor dents which I will have to point out for you to see. Here is a list of recent modifications or features the previous owner gave me, recently rebuilt C-4 auto trans, and tourqe converter, air shocks, brakes, new battery, altenator, gauges, new 235-75 R15 all season tires. A completly rebuilt 5.0 motor out of a 1984 Mustang GT, with a mild cam, 30 over block, high volume oil pump. HEI distributor, Eldelbrock 500 CFM carb, aluminum GT OEM manifold. Micky Tompson aluminum valve covers, new chrome air cleaner, serpintine set up with March pulley and new vwater pump, ceramic coated headers with H pipe and Flowmasters. It runs and drives great, It does need tail pipes, has full exhaust just ends after the mufflers at the back. There is also no ignition barrel you start it with a series of switches, but it would be cheap and easy to get a new barrel and keys. It does not use any oil but does have a couple of small leaks, I think an oil pan gasket and some valve cover gaskets would go a long way. Also needs a horn relay. The origional seat is actually in great shape, a few small tears on the drivers side, I also have the origional 41 year old spare tire along with a much more servicable spare.
