First of all this Dark Cherry Wagon is my pride an joy. It me took three years and about 20k in cash, but need to help pay for my daughters college so I'm selling it to the highest bidder. I have three kids. NO RESERVE AUCTION STARTING AT $200.00 I bought this wagon from a friend of my who owns a dealership up in NY on 12/2005, he called me and told me to buy this Dark Cherry Wagon. One of the cleanest he has ever seen. It had around 150k on it. Got it home to St Louis, and the mods began. The car had NO RUST ANYWHERE inside or out, and looked great, but I wanted more. I decided to do a complete overhaul from front to back. ( I mean everything) I dont buy cheap parts. THE ENTIRE CAR IS NEW NOTHING IS ORIGINAL PARTS AND MOST HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH GM QUALITY PARTS I decide to move the side outside mirrors upon the doors to the 95-96 style and while doing that I decide to have all the small dents removed and small issued removed. The local body shop did all the work and I made sure it was done the correct way. Only the sides were paint the top was not touched. Impala SS grill added. Three coats of paint and three coats of clear. the mirror holes were welded patched correctly. Every piece of trim and door handles/locks/lights/bumpers/ hood/ tailgate/ were removed. This car has original doors/tailgate/ hood etc. The car was painted about 3 yrs ago and still looks perfect. No dings or dents, paint fade, swirl marks, nothing!!! NOW LET THE MODS BEGAN: I think I will list them. All these mods have around 1,500 miles on them. -Used 96 Impala SS engine from wrecked car with 56k- before new engine went in, I replaced EVERY seal on the engine including the rear main seal. -New GM Opti Spark, new water pump, new valve stem seals, new Beehive valve springs, new 1.6 Comp Cams Full Roller Rockers with new stem blue band stem seals, all new oil cooler lines, new radiator, all new upper and lower radiator hoses, new GM LT-4 Composite Valve covers, LT-4 knock sensor, new GM crank hub and seal, PCM tuned by Bryan Herter for upgraded shift and 160 thermostat, fan temps, ect and high performance mods -- I reused the 56k power steering pump, and alt, and a/c compressor and install it with the motor on this car. While the old engine was out, I replaced lots of little things. -New A/C accumulator and with all the o-rings replaced. -Red MSD high performance plug wires -8 new spark plugs -New dual cone RAISS intake system -one of a kind -I had the factory Transmission Rebuilt at local trans shop with all the performance upgrades and new custom 2800 red stall -Accel 300+ Ignition System mounted on top of metal plate on top of PCM cover -Rear end was removed, I had new AMA General Motors 373 gears with correct ABS ring and Eaton Posi installed with every bearing replaced inner or outer, new wagon axles, and new Denny's aluminum drive shaft- Has no vibration issues at all even at 100mph -New Clear Image Tri-Y Headers with high flow cats, with 5 yr ceramic coating. I can transfer the warranty -Complete new 2.5 exhaust with PYPES X-Pipe and high flow Summit turbos muffler and rear 2.5 tail pipes -sounds perfect, deep sounding no drone -Complete Hotchkis suspension set up --Hotchkis rear sway bar, Hotchkis rear upper and lower control arms, and huge powder coated B-body Performance front sway bar, new end links. -New Bilsteins1104 and 929 shocks front and back, new Moog CC506 springs in rear and new Suspension Techniques lowering springs in the front, along with every ball joint upper and lower, . These parts have less than 20 miles on them. -All tie rod ends, center drag link, idler arm, and inner tie rods end replaced. the steering box was also rebuilt, This drives like a new car. -New fuel pump, new brakes( front and back) new front calipers and rotors, NOW ON THE INSIDE-SEE PICS -Beautiful Tan Leather Bonneville 6 way power bucket seats, New GM tan carpet, 1995 Z-28 cluster installed that works perfect with tach and correct gauges New GM leather steering wheel 12 inch flip down DVD monitor for second row and my kids All custom floor high quality mats, front extended ,one piece middle, and even one for the very rear facing back. -Fully functional floor shifter from blazer, lights up at night, has neutral safety switch release and is completely factory like. I removed the column shifter and the hole in the steering column.Perfect mod with Z-28 cluster. Door panels have SS black type door pulls all wood grained removed from the inside with matching window controls in excellent shape Roadmaster wagon rear panels with door panel lights, Every light works at night including the radio and floor shifter,ect no lights burnt out and all match. Cargo area is clean with custom made floor mat for third seat and cargo area. -Impala SS badge inside and out. -Blazer overhead console with current temp and map lights, custom rear dome light, full remote start, key less entry, twilight sentential -Seats have no tears, rips, or issues, dash has no cracks, door panels are perfect, all windows have new style window rollers that will never break. -Windows are tinted 35% in front 20% in rear and cargo area, which is legal in MO -GM factor CD player that works perfect, all new pioneer speakers front and back. New Cooper Zeons 245/50/17 tires, Impala SS wheels are in great shape. Car was aligned by new Hunter Camera rack. Everything was adjusted correctly The bottom floor pans of the car was power washed and coated with a product called ZERO RUST to prevent anything to ever rust. I'm sure I am forgetting something, but will add things later. Car has not seen rain/snow. or super hot weather since 2005 when I got it, been stored every winter in my heated garage on a two post lift. Does not leak a thing and runs and drives perfect. Pic were taken 3/25/11 just got out of storage today and it started raining. (lol) The battery was down when I tried to start it today and I will replace with new one before new owner take the car. I noticed I bought it in 2007.
