~1969 Volkswagen Beetle Bug~ Up for auction is a WONDERFUL 1969 volkswagen beetle bug. This car is in great running condition and shifts perfect! This bug has had a new paint job over the years and is burgandy red in color with flecks of shimmer. The paint job is pretty good with some imperfections as any 42 year old car would. The running boards will need to be repaired soon due to some rust. This would really make a great show car with a little TLC. The motor has had a complete tune-up by previous owner. It runs great. It has newer seats purchased at the 2010 bug show in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The man who put them in did a good job. It also has new door panels and newer style tires, 205/65/16's. The volkswagen has a luggage rack which normally is a $300 item. The floor pans and battery tray are in ok shape. The only thing I can say bad about this car is THE wiring is messed up..sometimes the lights work and other times they dont. Sometimes it starts and other times it doesnt. If you move the wires it starts fine. I have driven the car to work for a few weeks and it has not given me any trouble.
