Up for sale is my 2001 Honda Insight with 63,081 miles. The vehicle runs and shows very well. I normally get 62 mpg highway and 52 mpg city. The vehicle comes with a clean Auto Check and Carfax history report, with no accidents and a clean Florida title. The IMA batteries charge fully but still have an existing WARRANTY until 6/2011, per Honda extended 10/150k battery warranty. The clutch shifts smoothly with no problems. The interior is clean and is non smoker vehicle. This has been my daily driving and I hate to get rid of it. I get about 55 mpg combined city and highway and spend about $30 at the pump every three weeks. The car was serviced 3/18/2011 with fresh oil and a thorough inspection. The vehicle does have a upper valve tap (lifter noise) at start up but quickly quiets down once operating temperature is achieved. My mechanic has done a compression check and has sifted the oil and both have come back negative for any major engine concerns. Because the engine is made out of all aluminum it does not expand until operating temperature is reached. This is a very common occurance with the Insights all aluminum engines. There is extensive research available on insightcentral.net. The air conditioning operates at 45 degrees, so for the summer months you will be very cool. This is a nice clean car that can be anyones daily driver for a long time. The exterior does have some scratches. I will try to describe them: Both mirror have minor scratches, the passengers door has a four inch scratch and the front bumper has some chips. Although I have tried to describe any faults with this vehicle accurately, this is an "as is" sale.
