Up for sale is a used 2002 Silver Chevy Trailblazer with grey interior. it is 4WD with AM/FM and CD player A/C and heat functional. I had an automatic starter installed two years ago which works from about 1000 feet away. It has over 155,000 miles on it but most of which are highway miles because I have driven this vehicle from Chicago to Colorado multiple times per year for the last 9 years. Just this past week I was driving it out to Colorado when the transmission started giving me problems. It had problems shifting into the highest gear around Nebraska then began having problems shifting into even 3rd gear. I stopped in Lincoln nebraska and had it looked at by an auto shop (24 hour auto) where they said I'd need to replace the transmission. It would be about $2400 for a new transmission put in and about $1700 for a used transmission put it. I'm due for a new car so rather than put the money in to fix it I'm just going to sell it. Engine is still in great shape and the car is in decent shape besides a dent in the front of the hood and a few minor dings. The auto shop has already made me a decent offer but I'm seeing if I can get any more for it. This would be a great deal for someone who can fix or install a transmission themselves, but I most definitely cannot do that.
