Up for bid is my beloved 68 mustang coupe. I have recently been impacted by a series of events that no longer allows any extra time for me to work on it. Rather then it siting in the garage I am going to pass the car to someone else in hopes that it will get done. Let me begin by saying that I have put a lot of time and money into this car already. Everything that was done to the car was done the right way which most of the time was the most expensive way. The body and frame were bead blasted and the primed in DPG 90 epoxy primer, The car was taken to a professional for all the body work, I would say about 85% to 90% of the body work is done. The engine bay has been painted a gloss black, the door jams and under the hood ( which will need repainted) under the trunk, door panels, door sills, have been painted "pepper grey" or the GT500 color. The rear end is a 9" rear end that has a 3.75 gear in it. 28 spline axels with new bearings, seals and pig seal. Items that were replaced: FRAME: 1 front frame rail and torque box, and both rear frame rails and torque boxes. Sub frame connectors were added for additional support and strength. I think floor pans were done but not by me. What is "Brand new" on the car body: Both fenders, Fiberglass trunk, side scoops, front and rear valance panels, spoiler on front, both shock tower covers. What is "Brand new" on the Suspension: Both spring perches, front and rear shocks (KYB's), upper and lower ball joints, bushings, bearings, front spindles. I have the brake calipers for the front, The rear has new drum brakes, shoes, brake hard wear, wheel cylinders. Large performance sway bar with all new hard wear. What else is "Brand new" Some of these items are already on the car: Door panels, interior and exterior door handles, armrest (black), Headliner (black), carpet (black), kick panels (black), fuel tank, fuel sending unit, Chrome monte carlo car, chrome cowl brace, chrome front bumper, chrome shock cover caps, taillight lens, chrome bezels for taillight, backup lights, marker lights, parking lamps, battery tray, hood hinge, hood latch, chrome power brake booster, and master cylinder, correct front windshield. "ALSO ALL NEW WIRING HARNESS & FUSE BOX". What else goes with the car: Front seats (red) condition about a 9.8 out of 10, Backseat (black) about a 9.8 out of 10. Rear windshield (good), windows (okay), a bunch of chrome trim, dash pad, windshield wiper motor already installed, wipers, anything else that I find, etc. ENGINE: This is a 351w out of a 94 bronco. The short block was rebuilt by jasper engines. What I have done to the Engine: new custom grind Comp Cam - .512 intake - .512 exhaust, new 1.6 ratio Gold Crane roller rockers, new springs, new steel retainers, and new keepers. Endurashine rpm airgap intake manifold, Holly DP carb, new chrome scoop, new chrome oil pan, new oil pump pickup, new water pump, new chrome valve covers, new distributor, spark plugs and wires, New March pulleys, new powermaster starter (not on engine). Engine has not had the opportunity to run since rebuild. Trans: Ford racing Z-spec trans M-7003-Z out of a 93 cobra mustang. Trans worked great when removed, have not done anything to it. I have a brand new Mustang clutch kit that goes with it. Bell housing and backing plate are also included. I am sure I missed some things if I remember I will add as the days go on. I also found a brand new radio bezel that goes with the car forgot to mention car is sold as is, and due to the amount of out of state bidders I would like a 300.00 deposit within 24 hours unless you plan on picking up everything within that time frame. I roughly added up what I have in the car and engine right now and it is close to 15K This is an Outrageous deal !
