Up for sale is a 1953 Willys Aero Eagle. This is the 2 door hardtop coupe version of the Willys Aero. The engine is the original Willys F- Head 161 cubic inch 6 cylinder. The transmission is a 3 speed manual transmission with factory overdrive. This vehicle has been off the road and in storage for many years. It has been stored inside since I have owned it. The engine runs well, but the vehicle cannot be driven because the brakes were long ago disassembled. The operating condition of the drive train is unknown. The vehicle will need mechanical repair and body restoration. The front floor area will need some flat plate sheet metal repair and the body will need the dents repaired. The balance of the interior floor and trunk floor are in good condition. The rocker panels and lower front and rear fenders are intact. The front and rear window glass is undamaged. The drivers side glass is also undamaged. The passenger side front and rear windows have holes in them, but are easy to replace flat glass windows. The front and rear seats are still intact but will need to be upholstered. The mileage on the vehicle is not accurately known. Included with the vehicle are the factory parts manual, the factory repair manual and two original owners manuals which are all in good to excellent condition. I was going to restore this vehicle back to its original since it is nearly complete and has not been modified. It has much potential to be restored or modified to whatever you would like it to be. There are very few of these Willys Aero vehicles in condition good enough to be easily restored. In 1953 the Aero Eagle Coupe was the top of the line 2 door version.
