Up for sale is this STOCK 1955 FORD F-100 Restored Custom Cab Panel Truck. This is a EXTREMELY RARE panel truck that has been restored to it's original condition. Truck is not a trailor queen but a fun unique panel that is a daily driver. It has the rebuilt 223, straight 6cyl. which has receipts on all motor work, rebuilt carb, a new 4 row radiator, it has the rare Fordomatic transmission and new exhaust system all is 100% Stock. Truck is very solid,very straight with little body filler and never butchered,cut or modified and has been professionally repainted it's Original Factory Color Aquatone Blue and Snowshoe white and converted to a 12volt electrical system including the original spotlight. The interior has the two seats redone in original carmel brown and the passenger seat folds up forward for access to cargo area. It was quite rare for panel trucks to have two seats, usually it was just one for the driver. The heater and system is the original Delux Magic-Aire(fresh air). The interior cargo area has been redone with gray perforated vinyl and supported by the original bows with insulation backing. The cargo floor is new beautiful marine varnished oak with original bed strips. The frame was stripped and painted with POR15 black. The rearend gear ratio is original 3.92 . The entire braking system is new but yet stock. All glass, rubber, felt and weather stripping is new. What does this panel truck need? It needs the final section of headliner that hangs over seats in front. The rear taillights need replacement because they are pitted. The radio and receiver is there and works, but is 6volt so not hooked up due to now being a 12volt system. The steering box could be tighter. It has been suggested many times that because of factory color AQUATONE BLUE and spotlight this was originally a florist delivery truck. The panel had to have a new VIN# issued by the CHP and DMV because original frame stamp could not be totally identified by CHP officer. I have current pinkslip and tags are current. All parts are high quality parts purchased from Sacramento Vintage Ford or Mid-Fifty Ford. The truck was painted and assembled part by part and runs great. Panel trucks are rare because so few were made 11,198 and this is one is more unique being a Custom Cab with the factory automatic and options.
