First off, let me state that this is not a real Boss 302; it is painted and striped to look like one. This is an original 1969 Mustang fastback, VIN # 9T02F190284. The door tag does not match the rest of the car so the door must have been changed as some point. I believe the car was originally white; I will try to get the Marti report to verify options. The engine is an original 1969 302 although it is not original to the car. DRIVETRAIN: Brand new Edelbrock Performer 4V aluminum intake and new Holly 600 CFM carb with electric choke. New water pump and radiator. Original 2V intake and carb included. Original aircleaner and chrome dress up air cleaner included. C4 automatic, power steering, manual brakes. Tri-Y headers, aluminized exhaust with crossover pipe, Flow Master mufflers. Ford 1 piece export brace. BODY / PAINT: This is an older restoration but the paint is still very presentable. The color is Wimbleton White. There are a few paint bubbles on the bottom of the doors. The car has all the external features of a Boss 302 including the elimination of the side quarter panel scoops. The torque boxes and frame rails are excellent with no swelling. The front floors have been replaced but they did a good job. The tops of the fender aprons do not show any signs of rust; the spot welds are very crisp although the battery box apron appears to have replaced.The bumpers have good chrome; brand new door handles. New quarter window boomarangs included but not installed. Very nice 15 inch Magnum 500's on newer 235/60 BF Goodrich Radial TA's. Front and rear spoilers and rear window louvers. INTERIOR: Very nice standard interior. No cracks in dash pad; no rips or tears in the seats, headliner or door panels.Older after market stereo with factory type door and package tray speakers. Nice center console with woodgrain insert. SUMMARY: The car will not win any awards for best paint, engine or interior but is a very presentable car for your local cruise-in's and personal enjoyment. I will also consider interesting 1969-70 Mustang trades, up or down. Check my feedback and bid with confidence.
