1967 MUSTANG FASTBACK+++STRONG 351 ENGINE+++5 SPEED BRILLANT RED PAINT+++NICE INTERIOR AMERICAN RACING WHEELS+++COLD AIR+++PS+++DISC BRAKES UP FRONT:::::: This is not an auction, this is a fixed price listing. I have a good price on the car and my buy now price is the lowest price, I'm asking more on the local market. This is not a sugar coated listing, I will tell you what I see thats wrong and whats good. I don't want to trade for anything, I will not stop the listing without a deposit, I am happy for you to call me, I welcome you to come and inspect the car. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I'm not movtivated to do anything different than I'm doing. I'm a happy old man that loves cars and doing this for the love of it. Sunday is my day off, I usually don't answer my cell phone and I don't meet with people and show cars, I do answer my emails in the early morning and another time through the afternoon, I go to church on Sunday and spend the time with my family. This is not a 100 point show car, this is a very nice car that things have been upgraded and changed on. My listing and selling is not what most people are used to, but it works good for me and most people like the direct way I list a car "they all sell". I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that this is a nice car, I'm 64 years old and don't play the game like the car dealers and traders. I'm a real mechanic that restores and works on cars. I did not restore this car, but I'm going to tell you a lot about it in the description below. Thanks, Ron Watson VIN 7TO2C295813 DOOR TAG:::::::: 63A 0 2A 10V 21 0 W MILEAGE: 27307 showing and I'm sure it has turned once. TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand with a VIN that matches. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? None that I can find. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. THIS CAR DID NOT COME FROM THE FACTORY AS A GTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the panels look to be original to me, all the floors look to be original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAINT: No dents, no dings,no rust bubbles and the car has a brillant shine. The car is straight to look down the sides, its been painted for over 4 years and still looks new, we did buff it to bring the shine back up to the new look. I see some very tiny chips that have been touched up on the door edge and some down low, but you have to look with a critical eye to see them. The passengers vent on the upper rear quarter has a couple of the vertical vents with uneven spaces (this is very common on the vents and you have to inspect with a crital eye to see it). CHROME: Nice chrome, it all looks very bright with no rust and no dulling, I see some very fine pits in the truck bezel. INTEROR: The deluxe interior is ver nice, but all not new, it has the deluxe package with the aluminum inserts and it has a overhead consol with one light working. Super clean with no smoke smell, headliner is like new, carpet is good, door panels and seat covers good, the center stiching around the curve on the rear lower panel is loose. The fold down seat works good. UNSERSIDE: Nice, but not detailed for show, it has no rusted holes or swelled places and all the floors look to be original. For the pictures I did not black it out or put a thin coat of under-coating on because guys might think I was trying to cover rust up. THE CAR HAS FRAME connectors: this is a very good thing, they connect the back and front frame extentions for greater strenght and it helps prevent body twist. GLASS: Windshield looks new, side window are good with no cracks and roll up and down good, the large back glass has some minor marks. All the weather stripping is good. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 351 Windsor, past owner said it had been rebuilt, it has a 4 barrell Edelbrock carburater and intake and a nice little cam with a little lope. The battery, tune up parts and relay are new. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good! Its dual with full tube headers and it has the deep/loud Muscle Car sound. TRANSMISSION: Five speed manual tranmission that is in good condition, its a Tremic T5. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its not posi, but it is a 9 inch. BRAKES: Good, they are disc in the front and drums in the rear. I put a new power booster on, it works great, but feels soft, "that just the way it is". STEERING: Good, the car drives great, it is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES: Wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust D series and the tires are BF Goodrick 2:25 70s and 14 inch. Tires and wheels look like new. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, parking lights work, interior light is not working. GUAGES: The gas gauge works, the oil is a gauge in the round area where the clock would go and it works, the indash tach is not working. WIPERS WORK! GAS GAUGE WORKS! HORN WORKS! SPEEDOMETER works! HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! DEFECTS AND PROBLEMS: 1. A few very tiny touched up chips in the paint under a critical eye inspection, they are on the door edge and low. 2. The tach is not working 3. The interior lights are not working. 4. The power antena in the truck is not working, I'll try to get a new fixed antena on. 5. And probally something else I missed. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard! The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the car, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information. CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com THE GAME: I don’t play the game like most sellers! I tell you who I am, how to contact me, where the vehicle is located, lots of details and welcome you to come and look at the vehicle. I don’t put my vehicles up for auction because it a big joke, most sellers just have their buddy’s bid the auction up to what they want. Read the who your buying from section, I’m 64 years old, I have been a auto mechanics instructor, was an instructor in the US Army aviation school for Chinook helicopters and sold a good business to retire and play with classic cars. PAPERWORK: I know what to do! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the car “come look”. I RESERVE TH RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET. WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my home in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. I am 64 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 38. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam. I’m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American. I’ve been married to the same good woman for 41 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives 3 instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing. US TRANSPORT: “No problem”, I can recommend a very large company, McNutt Auto Transport Service 800-755-2324. “open carrier only” US OR EXPORT “the best”: Classic Car Transport, LLC: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Bill at 913-749-0948 Email bill@classiccartransport.com MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75) and 35 miles south of interstate 40, so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $250 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake bank certified check. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire transfer. Option 4: Pay Pal is good, but it cost a lot. It cost me around 3%, I will take it, but you will have to add 3% to the price. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don’t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first! TRADES: Please no trades! BOTTOM LINE: My firm price is $27,650 and I will be asking more at the big spring car shows. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. It’s not fun to bargain over the cell phone all day long with people that live 2000 miles away and are not going to buy anyway. My firm price is the Buy Now price. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I’m not motivated to be bargained down. PLEASE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Come look at this vehicle. Please don’t hit the Buy Now button unless your ready to really buy it! Do your research, call me with questions, read my feed backs, I am ebay verified; this means they say I’m a real person in a real place. I WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE AND PLEASE DON’T BE A CRY BABY. Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com IS THERE A WARRANTY? No!
