This car needs just a little TLC and it will be a sweet ride. I have included pictures that show when I stopped working on it, current pictures, and picutures that show the modification process. My father bought this car for me in 2005 and a short while after having it, we decided to chop the top 3" all around and give it a rat rod look. I have a full catalog of pictures that show a step by step process of how we did the modification and I can email any extra pictures. Soon after we painted it, I moved to florida for a year and it has sat in the same spot since. I have decided to sell it because I am not going to have any time to work on it in the next few years and I would rather see it go to someone who can make it the car it deserves to be! The car has been sitting outside but covered by a tarp and a car cover. There is surface rust, but no deep rust on any of the car. Here's a list of modifications, accessories, and specifications of the vehicle: 1954 Bel air coupe. Early 80's chevrolet 305 8 cylinder engine. Newly rebuilt 350 transmission (no mileage on the rebuild). Edelbrock carburator. Brake booster and master cylinder upgrade. Front brake disc upgrade (upgrade from drums to disc brakes). Ford 9" axle with drum brakes. 20" 150 spoke knock-off style wheels and tires. Accessories: These are items that I have bought and we're on the car at one point but are currently not on the car... Side lake pipes with slash open end. Rear air bag suspension (air ride). Rear fender extensions/cover. New carpet. Window gaskets/filler. What will it take to make this car ready? The body work needs to be redone at the rear section. The plastic (bondo) has cracked from the way it is sitting on the frame. I have the jack stands very far up towards the front end of the frame and the stress of the rear quarter of the car hanging off has caused the body work to crack. After the body work, of course, it will need to be painted. The motor runs and runs well. The brakes will have to be fixed. The rear brake shoes need to be replaced and the whole system needs to be bled and worked over. The exhaust needs to be completed and needs to work around the added brake booster which is underneath the drivers side. The interior is in great shape and has been sitting inside my house for most of these years. All the interior parts are in my posession and it just needs to be worked around to fit the chopped top. The front window has been cut but needs a gasket. Needs side windows. Really all this car needs is someone to give it just a little time, and it will be ready to go! CAR IS PICK UP ONLY...
