Up for bid is my 1972 vw Karmann Ghia Project.The car has an excellent running motor. The transmission works just fine, does not jump out of gear.The carburator has been rebuilt. The fuel pump has been rebuilt .The gas tank has been replaced with a clean tank. The entire gas system has been fixed. The car is a good running car. The car ran and drove good when I last drove it . That was a year ago. It has been siting in the garage since then but should be just fine.I have been working on the body all this time getting it ready to paint ,as you can tell. The car has bondo in it so this car is not a show car but with a paint job it would be a great daily driver.I have all the crome and lights that are off the car for a paint job . All parts are marked as to where they go. The floor pans on the driver side have been replaced. The floor pan on the passenger side have been repaired. They are all now fixed. The muffler and tailpipes are all brand new. They are all german made. I paid over $75.00 for the muffler alone. The motor has not been run since they were installed. I have three other projects, another ghia, a bug and a jeep all to be rebuilt. I am simply in over my head. This one has to go to get the others done.I have over $3,000 invested in this car between buying it and the parts I have bought to fix it. I also have a new set of front and back door panels I will sale for an additional $50.00 over the final bid. I will list it as a no reserve auction starting at $500. The bid highest over the starting bid will own the car. The color you see is the flash of the camera inside of the garage where the lighting is not good.There is a panel in the bottom of the noise to elimate the rusted parts. The guy that did the body work said he put panels in the car where ever they were needed. I DO HAVE THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS FOR THIS CAR AND THEY HAVE THE TWO VERTICAL PIECES ON EACH BUMPERS.
