Here is another of my Dads collector cars. At 83 we think he needs to streamline his collection,so here with no reserve is an incredibly original piece of '70s history. This '72 Squire has original paint that will polish out great. It wears its original wood trim that could stand to be redone. The outer edge pieces are faded and have some dents. The right front fender outer edge is new old stock and would make a great reference for grain and color matching the rest. The paneling is faded and there are some small dents and dimples in the right front fender in the paneling. The cars body has one small rust spot on the bottom of the left front door and there are some other minor scratches and dings it the original paint at the bottom of the doors and fenders. All of the paint is original factory finish. It still retains a gloss but would benifit from a light buffing.and since light green is non metallic it should be easy to do any spot work down low. The interior is also original with only minor flaws,most notably a few cracks in the dash and a split seam in the drivers seat.The chrome looks very good with only minor age trophys. Mechanically its teriffic.Pop drives his cars so if they need something he gets it fixed. Tires ,brakes and exhaust have all had maintanence in recent history. The 400 c.i. V8 runs great as does the automatic transmission. The shift indicator does'nt work . The wire from the column to the indicator must have broken? Pop had the air gone through last year wich involved a new compressor etc. This is a real cruiser that is in amazing original condition.
