I’m selling my ’95 BMW R1100GS with 56,200 miles. Bike is ready to ride with new Michelin Anakee 2 tires last fall (1,500 miles on them), new fuel pump and filter installed last fall as well. Rear drive oil was changed last year. Dealer serviced at 54.5k, valves adjusted and throttles synchronized. Bike has SW-Motech engine guards, hand guards from R1200GS, Oxford clock with temp. This GS was originally red (the other option was black), because the paint was faded I re-painted it bright silver with a matte finish that will not show scratches easily. I put on GS stickers from R1150GSA which look much better than original R1100GS stickers. Head covers had some scratches when I got the bike so I polished, sandblasted and painted them black. Passenger seat has a small crack up front, the anti-slip cover my wife really likes covers this so you don’t see it unless you know it’s there. Right after I got the bike two years ago I made a custom windscreen extension out of 1/8 in. lexan that works really well. Later I found out about some aftermarket windscreens for the 1100 that you may want to get if you don’t like what I’ve done. Engine guards have some very light scratches on them – I bought them used like that. Bike has ABS brakes and heated grips. Everything works as it should. Overall great shape for the year, doesn’t need anything, ready to enjoy. Hynes manual and oil filter wrench come with the bike. I had a set of Jesse cases on the bike that worked great, I will use them on the new R1200, that’s my reason for selling this one.
