THIS JEEP HAS SPENT ITS WHOLE LIFE IN SOUTHERN GEORGIA. IT HAS NOT HAD ANY RUST ISSUES ANYWHERE....ZERO,NATTA,ZILCH. THATS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I WANTED THIS PARTICULAR JEEP. IT HAS ONLY 81K MILES ON IT.
THE BODY WAS IN GREAT SHAPE WHEN I GOT IT. I HAD THE PAINT JOB DONE JUST TO FRESHEN AND BRIGHTEN IT UP (FACTORY COLOR). EXTERIOR PAINT JOB ONLY, INTERIOR PAINT WAS NOT TOUCHED.
JEEP RUNS GREAT. NO LEAKS. DOESN'T USE ANY OIL.
WHEN I BOUGHT THE JEEP IT HAD A HARD SHIFT WHEN GOING INTO SECOND GEAR. I HAD THE TRANNY REBUILT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO BY THE BEST TRANSMISSON GUY AROUND. JEEP SHIFTS LIKE A DREAM NOW.
I DO HAVE THE TIRE RACK AND MIRRORS HAVE BEEN PUT ON SINCE THE PICTURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN.
SEATS UNDERNEATH COVERS ARE THE SAHARA SEATS, GREEN AND TAN. THEY ARE A LITTLE FADED BUT IN GOOD CONDITION. THE DRIVERS SIDE HAS A SMALL TEAR IN IT.
EVERYTHING WORKS. RADIO, GAUGES (YES ALL OF THEM),LIGHTS, WIPERS, ETC.......
GREAT JEEP.VERY HARD TO FIND. LAST YEAR OF THE YJ. IT CAN BE AN EVERY DAY DRIVER ( IT WAS FOR ME) OR A TOY.
KEEP IN MIND IT IS A 15 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. AS YOU CAN SEE I'VE DONE ALOT TO IT AND HAVE INVESTED ALOT OF CASH IN IT. I REALLY, REALLY HATE TO PART WITH IT.
