Up for auction is a well cared for low mileage 1986 Ford Mustang GT. This car runs and sounds great, the transmission shifts smoothly and she handles and stops very well. The car is in very good shape for a 25 year old vehicle. This car is very fast and stock except for the 5 star wheels. It has not been modified in any way. We have owned this car for 6 years and it has never let us down. The car has been garaged since we have owned it. The top is original to the car; it keeps the water off but should be replaced. Tires are worn and will need to be replaced soon as well. This winter we serviced the brakes and had the steering aligned, installed new Ford Racing spark plug wires, cap and rotor (the original date coded wires are in the trunk), had the cooling system serviced and replaced the fuel and transmission filters. New Dew wipes were also installed on both windows. Power door locks, windows and top all work. The drivers side window will shift a little when moving to the up position but seats tight when up. We charged the A/C last season and it blew cool all summer but the freon leaked out again this winter. There are door dings and minor scratches to the paint as would be expected in an older car.
