Listed for auction is a 1996 Triumph Daytona 900 3 Triple with only 2,600 original miles. The bike is in excellent condition. Adult driven, never crashed. All aspects of the bike function as designed. I am the second owner and have owned the bike since Fall, 2009. The bike is completely bone stock as it came from the factory except for the following accessories: · Riser handlebars. These give some relief from the low OEM clip-ons. Very comfortable. · After market carbon shell mufflers (carbs jetted for the mufflers, pulls hard to redline). · OEM Centerstand. The bikes comes equipped with the color coordinated passenger seat fairing. In addition, the pilot’s footpegs have been lowered using OEM mounting points. Just a little more comfort but can be switched back to original no problem. The only damage is one of the side body panels was cracked in shipping prior to my purchase. Hence the faux-carbon decals on both side panels (just one damaged). I do have a spare color coordinated side panel which goes with the bike. It was never a problem for me, the bike looks and runs perfect as is. The amazing thing is this bike has such low miles and is very close to showroom condition. Really museum quality but is very powerful and handles very well. These Hinckley Triumphs earned a well deserved reputation for speed and durability, their spec, fit and finish a bit higher than the newer versions. Really hate to see this go. The bike is located in Jackson, MI. Reason for selling is I'm relocating overseas so it’s got to go. Clear MI title in my name. Bike is sold as is where is, all shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. However, I will assist as I can.
