I am only selling this car because she found something else while this one was being fixed. Had to replace the battery when I bought it, but when we put the new battery in, the Bose system's anti theft lock came on...You will have to take it to Cadillac and have them insert codes to unlock it. Before I bought it I was told it overheated and needed a new radiator. Had the local dealer put a new radiator in but the car still runs warm. The engine doesnt feel hot at all, but the temp gauge reads that it is. A code reader says that the O2 sensor is bad, and was told by a local Cadillac Dealer that the bad O2 sensor is probably the problem. . The car starts, drives and shifts fine. I dont think there is anything else wrong with it. It doesnt leak anywhere. I had the heads pressure tested and they are fine. I paid for the biggest part of the repair bill (the radiator) whats left are the small things. I googled the cost of an O2 sensor and it seems to be a $35 part, plus the cost of labor, unless you can do it yourself. The odometer reads 150,000, but the person I bought the car from said he changed the engine not too long ago and there is approximately 30,000 miles on this one. The interior is near perfect, just a little wear from its age, plus a missing speaker cover in the drivers door. The exterior is pretty good, nothing major. Small crack in the windshield. The rear bumper is cracking (the paint i mean) and there is a dent in the rear quarter panel (drivers side) The car hasnt been driven that much for about a month...Just to the gas station and back. but i start it every other day or so. This car DOES run. I just drove it to our gas station a few days ago. It will start on the first try after sitting for days. I just highly recommend towing the car home, especially if you live a distance away, so not to damage it further. Just in case :-) u-haul has a very nice and simple car hauler for a good price. The KBB for this car, with all of its features is 2,500. I am not going to put any more money into it unless I keep it for myself, so I will take a loss and sell it for 1,750.
