-No Reserve- 1997 Chevy Malibu LS -No Reserve- (Read Description!) Up for sale is a 1997 Chevy Malibu with a clean title. This car has the 3.1L V-6 motor which does run. This car does not drive due to a broken rear strut attachment at the brake drum. The power steering pump will need replaced as it works only intermittently. There is body damage to the car as you can see in the pictures along with a broken rear drivers side window. The damage to the the body and shock/strut tower was the result of it sliding off the road and up an embankment. It was being driven for about 3 weeks after the accident untill the strut actually broke off due to a bump. The air bags did not deploy and the radiator was not damaged. This car can be fixed to be driven again or be used for parts or parted out. The interior is decent but not perfect. Oil was changed every 5,000 miles and regular maintenance preformed including a new alternator in 10/2010. Also the drivers side rear tire is blown due to it rubbing on the shock/strut tower I may have a good tire to go in its place. This vehicle is being sold as is and it is up to the buyer to arrange transportation for it.
