Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 68 Chevelle. This car has never been abused, just run in town, never been to the track. Good running car. Good project, or leave it the way it is as a driver! Specs: 1968 Malibu, non SS, but has a couple of SS badges. 1987 (I believe out of a Camaro) 350 engine, 4 barrel edelbrock 750cfm carburetor with mechanical cold idle controls. Strong running engine. Dual exhaust custom built from the headers back with magnaflow mufflers, sounds awesome. TH350 (3spd automatic) transmission, just put a new rear main seal on it, no leaks. New carpet with full dynamat insulation, hurst quarter stick shifter with reverse lockout. 10 bolt 3.08 rear end, makes for good cruising, but I can still peel some rubber. Good tires, no serious burnouts. Adjustable rear air shocks, and drag coils in the front, making for a slightly taller stance than most with the 14" rims. The color is Hot Rod black, which is a matte finish. The paint is not what I'd call "show quality," but is perfectly usable for a go-fast car. CD player, green LED gauge lighting, Grant GT steering wheel. I love this car, but tough times force me to sell. This car has not been abused, nor has it been left 100% stock. It would make a good pro-street project, otherwise it's in perfectly good shape to be left the way it is as a driver. INCLUDED WITH THE CAR: 1972 396/402 block bored 0.060" over, with K/B Hypereutectic domed pistons (brand new), Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold (also brand new), the original 3904390 oval port heads, and crankshaft. Over $1000 the block alone, as well as $700+ in parts. Video of the car starting can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbqOujFLtU4 I require a non-refundable 20% deposit of sale price within 36 hours of auction close. Full payment due within 5 days of auction close. Buyer to assume all costs of shipping/pick up. This car is being sold as is, if there are any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking!
