1990 jeep wrangler 4 cylinder 2.5l tbi 5 speed manual trans. This jeep needs some tlc but is worth the work Ive had many great times with this jeep but my wife is making me get rid of it because i love it more then her. Top is decent shape. water pump was replaced 3 months ago. radator, clutch, clutch salve and master cyclinder was replaced. 3 days ago. withing the past 2 years i have replaced the altinator, starter, an d u joint on the rear drive shaft.. Shocks were replaced between 2 and 3 years ago. There is more work that I cant remember at the moment. What is wrong with the car? It could use to be painted. The line that goes to the slave cyclinder leaks when its cold out, the heater core is by passed because the one that is in there leaks a bit (i have a new heatercore in box that just need to be installed) The oil pressure sensor broke off . The jeep will need to be towed or repaired as it leaks oil bad from where the oil pressure sensor goes. The fuel gauge hasnt worked since i had the new gas tank put in. Its probly a simple fix but i didnt feel like droping the gas tank so I just use the trip set to judge how much gas I have left. The tempature gauge only reads all or nothing but thats is because it has a temp sensor in it for a light and not a gauge. Each fender is dented but can be pounded out easily. There are no locks in the doors. I had a set of door locks i got for it but at the moment i cant find them. I may have them at the time of sale but cant be sure. I never installed them because I cant see the point of locking up a convertable I have a box with extra parts for it which includes a new break line (front breaklines were replaced 2 years ago but I accidently got 3 or them at the time, Friction choice caliper part number 18-4339, friction choice caliper part # 18-4340, wear ever silver breakpads part number mkd447 3 pads in the box im not sure what happened to the 4th. duralast oil filter d410. I have the new rubber molding that goes around the door to stop air leaks, new windows regulator, set of offroad lights that can be installed on it. another box that has 2 break pads in it. a spare used shifter, and some extra hardware for the softtop that was left from the old top i replaced when i got it.. The jeep has a hitch welded to the back bumper which is good for light duty towing like moveing a log splitter. I have a what I belive is a class 3 hitch that bolts to the frame sitting here not used that you are welcome to if you want. It might need to be modified to fit the jeep Im not sure I never tryed to install it, it came off a 93 cherokee i had. This is a real fun car to drive. Owning a jeep is a life style. I hope I havnt scared off any buyers by listing whats wrong with it, Its not a bad car I guess im just to honest to be a good car salesman. If you think you can fix the oil leak where its parked on the street in front of my house I can run a extension cord out to you and a air line from my compressor but i cant provide any tools.
