Vehicle Detail
Matching numbers RS327 Camaro and I have the original protector plate to validate. I have owned this vehicle since Aug, 2004. It was restored by the previous owner and was bought from Bakersfield, CA. The engine and transmission were rebuilt and I drove it home and have since, without any issues whatsoever! I have had the oil and filters changed regularly and not had to do anything more. The car had completed 2,000 miles when I bought it and has over 8,400 now since the rebuild (mileage in ad reflects after rebuild) The car is pretty much stock apart from a flow master exhaust and added power assisted brake system. It has the original vacuum system which is fully operational for the headlights. The original paint color was not the current malibu blue. The paint work is 9 years old and still very nice, no surprises! I trust the pictures will show areas that I may consider faults. It has a two speed powerglide automatic transmission. The chrome on the wheel wells are after market, otherwise all original and in excellent condition. This is not a trailer queen. I have been caught in the rain but, generally take it out on sunny days to cruise. Car has always been garaged. It drives really well and I would not hesitate to go anywhere or any distance in it. The last appraisal in 2009 listed the car as #2 (#1 being the best) I hope the above will give you an insight to this car and it's history. New toy has arrived and making room in the garage. I truly hope not to regret selling this car!! I spent over 5 months looking for a car before choosing this one. If, like me you are looking for an honest car, which is genuine and to be trouble free, to be able to go out when you please for fun on a nice day? This is truly the car for you! When I bought the car and checked it out I thought there was no oil! It is still as golden now on the dipstick as it was then, and it made me believe there was no oil! The battery is the same one that has turned the engine over, time after time, being carburetted, at times a few revolutions, slight break and then it fires up right away. I have been in a car club, parades with my kids throwing candy from the windows and although i do not need to sell, have reasons still to do so. I know the next owner will not be disapponted. And, like me, if you choose to could drive it home wherever you reside. Please feel free to contact me, Gary, with any additional questions or concerns.
