This Pacer wagon is a recent garage find near Kenosha, its birthplace. It is a one owner all original car that was parked in 1988 in a dry garage. The owner was a devoted AMC owner. His family's attested that he only bought AMC, and they remember this was his last car, which was parked when he could no longer drive it. It is a D/L with many options including 8 track,A/C, cruise, tilt wheel, bucket seats with console. I have done many things to make it a good driver. I have replaced all ball joints, shocks, tires, battery, starter, belts, plugs, wires and tuneup parts. I changed all fluids, oil,trans, radiator, brake,etc. I have not addressed A/C since it is winter here, but all equipment is present, and may work, or need recharging. The car has 84,000 original miles. It has the 4.2 liter 258 CI 2 barrel 6 cylinder with auto trans. The interior is clean, and in good condition with some stains, and a repairable crack in the drivers seat. The car is complete, missing no parts.There is surface rust around the bottom edge of body, and some actual rust on the rear below the bumper. The body and woodgrain sides is in remarkable condition for the age. It was rustproofed be Ziebart, and the chassis and floor show no signs of serious rust. With the popularity of all original barn find cars, you could do minimal preservation to rusted areas, and have a popular show car that is guaranteed to draw a crowd at car shows.
