2003 Ford SVT Focus, 1 of 3864 produced, this beautiful red cherry of a car could be yours! Everything works on this gem, nothing wrong with it. Rear tires are almost new, front tires have plenty of tread left, and the car has a Ford "Extra-Care" extended warantee good until September 20, 2013 or 97,206 miles whichever comes first. The car was just in a Ford dealership for replacement of two oxygen sensors. A new battery was also installed. A multi-point inspection was performed at that time. Don't let this deal pass you by! The reserve price is much less than I would like to sell it for, but if it only goes for that, I'll have to deal with it. I am buying a 4x4 pickup and I need the down payment for it. I really love the car, but it just doesn't go well with the occasional deep snow of Idaho. A: The reserve price is a value I set that determines the absolute lowest price I will sell the car for. ::giggle:: Actually, if I revealed what the reserve price was, it would take the excitement out of hitting it. I guarantee if you are half-way serious about buying this car, you WILL hit the reserve price. 2. In the photo, the oil pressure looks a bit low. Is that normal? A: Yes. In the photo, the engine is warm and idling. If the RPM is brought up to about 3000, it will come up to about three-quarters scale. There is nothing wrong with the engine. 3. Is the car parked right now? A: I am driving the car around town as I normally do, so it will have a few more miles on it at the time of transfer, maybe 40 or 50 more miles. 4. I noticed on the Carfax report, an accident was reported as "disabling." What is the story on that? A: Shortly before I bought the car (at a Ford Dealership), an accident occured. I do not know the details on it, but "disabling" could mean a fender pushed up against a tire, could mean a wheel knocked out of alignment, could mean the driver grabbed his neck and said "ouchy" or a number of possibilities. I do not know who did the body work, but whoever did it obviously did a darn fine job as the car tracks straight down the road and has no rattles, shimmies or vibrations. If there were any issues with the car, it would have been brought up during the multi-point inspection which was performed by Ford. I'm sure they would have been more than happy to take my money. 5. Does the car use oil? A: No. The car does not leak oil, and when it was in the shop last, a small water leak was fixed so it shouldn't leak any water either. Upon transfer, the car will have a fresh oil change. 6. What happens to the warantee when the car is transfered? A. I called Ford on this. The warantee is transferable for a $75.00 transfer fee, which I will pay. A form must be filled out called a "warantee transfer waiver" at a Ford dealership. There is not anything at all wrong with it. My trust bought the car for me and I was very limited on the choices I had. I am selling this car so I can move back to Wichita KS and buy a 4x4 pickup from a friend of mine, and the trust would not buy me a 4x4 truck. I guarantee there is nothing wrong with this car.
