The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation has a 2000 Dodge 3500 Para transit style van that has recently been retired from our fleet. The powertrain is a 5.9 gasoline engine, automatic transmission with overdrive. The van runs, rides and drives good and has 142,616 one owner miles. The body has several rust holes on the lower body panels, but seems to be structurally sound. It also has a fiberglass raised roof for better head room. The van is equipped with a Braun lift and it also is in good condition. The interior has seating for 11 passengers and one wheelchair tie-down as well. The van has front and rear air and worked last season. The tires will have suitable tread and the wheels are the stock steel and are in good condtion. The identifying decals will be removed from the bus and may have damage to the paint as a result. This van is complete and being sold as-is, where is. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Although this is a "No reserve" auction, the results must be approved by our Board of Directors. (Usually, this won't take longer than 36 hours) This is a state requirement and if you have issues with this stipulation, please don't bid. The successful bidder will have 10 Calandar days to remove the bus from our address located at 1250 Canal Road, Lafayette, Indiana, 47904.
