I have a 1982 Monte Carlo for sale. I have been driving it all winter and it starts great everytime. The body is in pretty good condition. The paint is faded from age but there are no major dents or dings. The rust on the car isnt bad at all, the main rust areas are the rocker panels and I got the middle rocker panels replaced on both sides and the other rust spot is behind the rear wheel on the passenger side. The rest seems to be mostly surface rust. The engine runs strong because it was rebuilt once before so there isnt actually 322,000kms on the engine. The motor in the car is a 267 V8. The interior is all intact with some of the plastic parts faded. Cassette player and radio still works. It would be a great car to fix up if I had the money because the body wouldnt take much but I dont have the money so here it goes. The new parts that I have put on this vehicle just before winter were: -3 brand new tires($300) -2 rocker panels($200) -Power Steering Switched out($80) -new battery($120) -full new exhaust(all new piping with a glasspack)($210) -distributer and parts within it($60) -new bottom rad hose($15) The only two things that are wrong with this car are the driver side inside door handle just snapped off and the driver side mirror is cracked.
