pmm5071 Store Hi, Up for sale is a 1996 Nissan Maxima, It has a V6 3.0 L engine, sunroof, a cassette player, heated seats, power doors/ windows, keyless entry, and all the other regulars of maximas. First, the good of the car. The car still runs very well, and I have been driving it around all year. The breaks, engine, and main components all run very smoothly. I got the ignition and starter both replaced this summer from pepboys, I still have the receipts (total of $395). I also got work done on the bottom of the car (paid $100 to a buddy, but was $800 worth of work at least), and a little more than a year ago I spent $636 (also have the receipt) on different parts of the car, the biggest expenses being brakes and a new muffler. I also got new tires about 2 years ago or so and a new battery about 3-4 years ago. We also have a brand new tire for the car that I'll throw in with the purchase. Now for the bad of the car: I recently got it inspected, and it did not pass. I have the actual diagnosis they gave me of everything necessary, but will also list it here: right lower ball-joint left lower ball-joint right outer tie rod end 2 sway bar link pins 2 rear roders due to rust. Other things to note: As you can see in the picture, there is damage to the passenger side of the car, but that is only cosmetic. The passenger window also doesn't go all the way down. There is some rust on the outside of the car, and some underneath the car as well. As I said before, I had a mechanic mount new steel under the engine, but more work may need to be done eventually. Also the odometer reads 122969, but I think it stopped fully working a couple of months ago, so there is probably another 1,000 miles or so that probably aren't calculated. This car, if fixed up right, should last a long time. There have been only two owners of this car, a family friend that I bought it off of, and myself. We both kept good care of it and got fluids and oil changed regularly. The car is being sold AS IS, so please only e-mail if you are a serious buyer.
