Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville that has been well maintained for the past 2 years. I purchased the vehicle from on older gentleman who didn't need it anymore. Shortly after the purchase I had to replace the front axle and repair the emergency brake line and a year later I had to replace the engine with a used engine. Since having everything repaired it has run very nice for me. I did purchase it without a cold ac unit. I have had the dealership give me a quote of 900 dollars to replace it and another mechanic who told me it simply needs a new control module. The system does run in defrost mode with the ability to make small adjustments to the temperature. In the winter when temperatures drop below 30 the heat may take a while to turn on but it does heat the vehicle very nice. It does have a very small oil leak which maybe caused by a worn seal around the oil pan but it does not effect the cars oil usage. I have been using a synthetic blend. There is a security light on the dash that has been on since I've owned the car and occasionally other warning lights will turn on and back off(ABS and Traction Control). I have had the system checked at AutoZone whenever the check engine light comes on as well but the scan comes back with no explanations. It does have a 10 disc cd changer install as well that worked but then stopped being able to read the discs. It may just need to be reset but I haven't done so because I normally just use my ipod with a FM transmitter. The radio has a very nice equalizer. The body is in fairly good condition with a small dent on the front driver-side corner with a missing side turn-signal light. Both front turn signal lights work great though. The rear bumper has a some sun damage but the paint job is very nice on the rest of the car. This is a great vehicle and has plenty of life left in it. It does have the GM V6 3.8L engine in it which is known to have a long life. Bid with confidence!
