THANKS. BARN FIND! Up for auction is the Rambler 440 American pictured. RARE convertible model, less than 5000 made. Even fewer in black! Power convertible top still works! Won't take too much to make this a driver. Engine starts easy, runs strong with no smoke. Transmission shifts like it should. All body trim is included except for front hood emblem and all trim is on car except driver door trim which is included. Brakes work, but wheel cylinders leaking due to long term storage. Power steering works good. Lights work, heater works. Battery is weak. No carpet. Needs seat covers or reupholstery. Doors shut good, windows work, tires are nice. Body is really nice, with very little rust as pictured. One very small spot also noted on drivers side fender top that probably cannot be seen in pics. Antenna is broken off, radio was not tested. Due to the brake issue, you'll need to tow or trailer the Rambler. This one is really worth fixing up now and you'll have it ready for warm weather fun! Take a look at the pics, ask any questions you might have before bidding. Odometer reads 97k, but true mileage unknown. Title is clear. WHERE'S ELKHORN WISCONSIN? Elkhorn is about a 45 minute drive from Milwaukee, a 90 minute drive from Chicago and about a 75 minute drive from Madison. TERMS By bidding on this item you agree to the following terms.
