This 2000 New Beetle GLS TDi was recently purchased by us after an intensive search. Its prior owner housed this car in his heated 9 car garage with luxury vehicles, bikes, RVs that boasted an immaculate cement floor that did not have one stain or drip anywhere. We recently serviced the VW including a new battery from the local VW dealership. This 5 speed, manual transmission 1.9L turbocharged diesel I4 SOHC 8V FI engine gets incredible gas mileage and on the highway it averages 55 miles to the gallon and in town it is 46 to 49 m.p.g. This very retro and hip VW has leather interior that is stain and rip free. It also has an anti-theft deterrent system, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, rear window system, custom wheels, 4 wheel ABS, power moon roof, remote trunk release, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, air conditioning, intermittent windshield wipers, daytime running lights, 6 pack CD with AM/FM audio system. It also has a 3” exhaust system that is totally legal and it was converted for highway use, (i.e. for more power if needed.) Also, there is no rust of any kind on this vehicle. Unfortunate personal circumstances necessitate that we sell this car now. In our opinion on a scale of 1 to 100 this car is is a 98.6. We offer no warranty nor is any warranty implied.
