You are viewing a beautiful 2001 BMW 740IL! It was a trade in on a new BMW here in southern California last weekend. It is a Two owner Southern California BMW with an unblemished Car fax history. It was first sold at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo Ca December 19th, 2001 and the second time in Los Angeles Ca February 18th, 2003. All photos of this 2001 BMW 740IL were taken as received. On all eBay sales; we simply prefer to show the subject vehicle in the same condition as when we received the unit in trade. The vehicle has not been cleaned or dolled up for pictures. This 740IL is equipped with the following features: Sport package, Cold weather package, Navigation, Premium Sound, Cass, Six disc CD changer and heated seats along with standard features including power telescopic and tilt wheel, air conditioning Drivers power seat with three position memory, passenger power seat, power windows and locks, keyless entry and security, cruise control, Leather upholstery and the list goes on and on! This 01 740IL has only 87,592 miles. It drives like a bat out of hell! The performance off the line or at passing speeds is simply breathtaking! This luxury automobile provides a very rewarding driving experience. It drives and shifts thru its automatic transmission correctly. There are zero clunks, squeaks or noises of any kind! The BMW tracks down the road in a straight line and does not pull to either side. Upon hard braking there is absolutely no brake fading or squeaks and the ABS brakes perform correctly. It has four near new matching Michelin tires with at least 85% tread wear left. The front tires are 235/50/ZR18’s and the rear tires are 255/45ZR 18’s mounted on BMW Sport wheels with only very minor scuffs on the wheels edge or lips. Everything works correctly including wipers, low and high beam head lights, lower driving lights, all turn signals and hazard lights, reverse and brake lights and running lights. All fluids are factory correct and at proper levels. The color of this 740IL Sport is Titan Silver. The paint and body appear overall have excellent sheen and luster with no signs of oxidation anywhere! The car looks like it has been garaged most of the time. The hood appears to have been painted before and it has imperfections including cracking near the grills and should be redone. The rear bumper has minor nicks. The body is exceptionally straight with no visible dings or scratches on either the driver or passenger side! The BMW badge on the hood is looking old and should be replaced. There is no noticeable imperfections in any of the glass windows that stand out. All weather stripping and rubber is soft and supple. Based on the physical outside condition of this automobile the car appears to have been garaged most of its life. Truly a well taken care of automobile! The interior color of this 740IL is Gray. The interior condition overall is exceptional. The leather seating surfaces are in amazing condition and are as soft and supple as a three year old car! There is very minor “color ware on the outer upper drivers seat bolster however the leather material is not worn at all! There are minor cracks in the center console burled wood however the rest of the interior including door panels, dash, head liner, carpets are all in excellent condition. The BMW is ODOR FREE and appears to have never been smoked in ever! Everything works correctly including all power windows, ice cold air conditioning, front and rear defrost, ventilation and heating and all ventilation settings, power door locks & mirrors, keyless entry and security, CD & cruise control, navigation, interior lighting. All controls, buttons etc are in good condition. The stereo is fantastic with no cracking noises from the speakers. Again a fine example of a pampered automobile. The only exception is for licensed dealers. IMPORTANT: Out of state buyers to avoid California ownership transfer fees the car must be picked up by a licensed carrier or transporter unless a licensed dealer. The Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. The BMW should be picked up within ten days of sale.
