1982 Chevy Malibu Classic. Grandpa's car, bought new and been in the family it's whole life. Features: two new front tires, interior is cloth and in good condition. Tilt wheel, cruise control, V6 engine, new transmission (from the dealership, cost$1400!) with less than 10K on it. Runs pretty good, smogged recently. Troubles: Carburetor has been professionally rebuilt and the car still dies at idle sometimes. Carb guy recommended a new one. A holley 2barrel would fix the situation way easier and cheaper than a new factory computer controlled piece of junk. So, that's the only thing wrong with an otherwise nice old car. It's an easy fix for the new owner. I will make sure it smogs again and then you can fix the carb situation. I cannot legally sell you the car with an aftermarket carb, but it's a direct swap, easy.The wife and I have cars and this one was sold to me as a backup and has been a reliable backup car but now cannot afford three cars.
