This is a great 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero. The car currently has 61,xxx miles on it. This is a fairly rare Cosmic Blue color, and even more rare with the five-speed manual transmission. I love the car and would not be selling it except that I have the chance to purchase the Saab 9-3 Viggen I have always wanted from a friend who is waiting for me to sell this first. For those of you familiar with these cars, the Viggen is one of the few Saabs more desirable than this Cosmic Blue 9-5 Aero. While I have owned the 9-5, I have put about 12,000 miles on it and have been diligent about attending to any necessary maintenance, as I was planning on owning it for many years. I even won People's Choice Best 9-5 at the Fall Saab Festival in Albany NY. Current Condition:Exterior The exterior of the car looks great, with only a few minor door-dings and imperfections nothing out of the ordinary for a car its age. All lights work as they should, including the Xenon HIDheadlights. It has the factory spoiler which was purchased as an option when the car was new, a rare bonus. Interior The interior of this 9-5 is charcoal leather and it has all of the standard features of a 9-5 Aero. All features works, even down to the Saab Information Display (SID) which doesn’t have a single burnt-out pixel. The interior looks great, with no stains or tears in the seats. Also the car was never smoked in! Mechanical With just over 61,000 miles the engine is very strong. It produces a ton of power and is very fast. The car recently dynoed at 220 hp and 245 torque. The manual transmission shifts very smoothly and the clutch feels like new. I replaced the front brakes at about 55,000 miles, installed Brembo Aero-spec rotors and ceramic pads. New parts: · Direct Ignition Cassette at 54,000 miles -( Replaced with a Brand NEW DIC from dealer, not a used one which many people replace them with!) · Front brake rotors and pads at 55,000 miles · PCV update kit #6 Test Drives- If you are in the north east and would like to come test drive it please do not hesitate to contact me.
