Another find here at The Auto House- the vehicle can be viewed at 6655 Brentwood Blvd. Brentwood, Northern CA 94513. 1961 Chevy Corvair Monza 900 2door- We acquired this vehicle not running as it had been sitting for 20 plus years. We put a fuel pump in it and fired it up. We could not keep it running due to one carburator flooding out the other. I had the carbs cleaned and reinstalled, but the same thing is happening. Therefore, I am selling this as is, not running, or as a parts car if you like. I have a clean title for the Corvair. The body is straight, there is limited rust on the car, the glass is good. The bumpers,molding, dash, steering wheel are ok. The car overall could be a nice vehicle... The transmission is a 2 speed powerglide, but I could not test it. The vehicle needs to be trailered away- The registration is not current and if a CA resident purchases the car and you want it registered, the fees are excessive and unknown. CA sales tax would apply as well. Out of state buyers do not have to pay these fees. CA residents wanting this for parts only can have the car junked and not pay the fees to register. The vehicle is sold as is where is with no implied warranty of anykind.
