Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE---no reserve---make it disappear--- My son bought this TR6 in 1990, had the transmission rebuilt & drove it for a few years. In 1993 he parked it in my barn to begin restoration of the rust---& it has been in the barn ever since! It ran when he began the rust repairs----and he had a spare engine at the machine shop (see pix), the head was rebuilt and the block was cleaned, bored and new freeze plugs [some surface rust on the parts]. Many new gaskets and parts are in the box. The vehicle is RUSTY and I couldn't get it started (didn't have time to try too hard). I need the space---make it ALL disappear--You are bidding on everything in the pictures INCLUDING the HARDTOP which seems to be in good shape. Triumph radio + extra clutch parts + new rings + new bearings +New Gaskets+in the box. Actual mileage UNKNOWN. Must pay in full with PayPal within 48 hours of winning bid. Must remove within 14 days. You pick up OR you arrange shipping. Thanks for looking. Jim On Feb-08-11 at 07:18:28 PST, seller added the following information: Clear Maryland title (issued in 1990)..I am out of town and I am not able to display the car; however, I feel it is very likely the engine & trans are fine and I am fairly certain the frame is rusted through in the typical tr6 place near the top of the rear suspension [I am told this is common and repairable]---it has been stored inside a warehouse for at least 15 years. This is a complete car with nothing important missing. The extra engine and parts were purchased later, seperately. JimOn Feb-12-11 at 19:05:37 PST, seller added the following information: Several people have asked about the frame (rusty??) so I jacked it up and I can see the frame where both of the lower rear control arms attach seem to be solid BUT if there is a top mounting point--I can not see it. The floor pans have 12 X 12 holes from about the driver's ankles forward on both sides and a few other small holes elsewhere in the floor pans. The trunk seems to be 99% solid and the front inner fender wells seem to be excellent. Both rockers are shot and there are rust holes at the top of both rear fenders and the flat panel that has the gas cap in it. Originally green and apparently sprayed red. Convertible top is shot & the hardtop seems fine.
