Up For Sale is my ' 68 W30 442 Oldsmobile.There were only 1911 W30's built in '68..1111 were 4-speeds, 800 automatics were built.This is a factory Red car with Black interior and bucket seats with console.Walnut 3 spoke wood wheel.She was purchased new in Bowling Green, Ky. where she stayed until I purchased her in May '09.The body has been removed and the original chassis was stripped,blasted,sealed and painted satin black.Original 12 bolt Posi-Trac Differential that was completely rebuilt with fresh Posi unit..Chassis was completely rebuilt from front to rear..Brand new set of Firestone Redlines mounted on red steel wheels.I do not have the original engine block and trans however, I have every piece of the W30 parts including the "D" heads,Correct Electronic Distributor and box,Correct Exhaust Manifolds, 6000 Redline TicTock Tach,Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner with the under bumper Scoops and the Red Inner Fenders.I have purchased a NOS Grill with NOS Grill Emblems and NOS 442 emblems for front fenders and deck lid.The original body has been replaced onto the original chassis.The body will need parcel quarters,driver door skin,and only a 6" square piece in the drivers floor side.I have the replacement drivers side floor panel for this repair..Small amount of repair will be needed along the lower dash.The original black dash is in mint condition.This is A lot of car beings the W30 parts alone are nearly impossible to find and when found are extremely expensive .If someone was interested in the complete package of the W30 parts only, I would consider selling them without the rolling chassis and body however will not give them away.This car when finished will be worth 3 times more than a regular 442.The original KY title has been sent in to be registered in N.C.If you are wanting a rare car to finish this is her..I can help arrange shipping if needed.I would consider a trade on a nice Hot Rod that is running and driving.The ONLY reason I am considering even selling this car is the fact that I have way to many projects going on at this time.I will also be listing the W30 parts alone as a package only.If they are sold I will pull this listing..
