Wow- Another nice find here at THE AUTO HOUSE- This is a VW Country Homes Camper Conversion. The van has been smogged and safety checked and is ready to go!! It can be viewed and inspected at 6655 Brentwood Blvd. Brentwood, Northern CA 94513. SELLING TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER-NO RESERVE 1983 VW Vanagon L- Country Homes Camper- 4 speed transmission which shifts fine in all gears. The motor is strong and runs well. There is a 2 burner stove, sink, small refridgerator and a side table. The back bench folds down and there is another bed in the back which folds over the bench. This camper is in overall great shape!! The interior is clean-the seats have no rips or tears, the dash is nice, and the rugs and headliner are clean. Outside, the paint seems original and has just a couple of small scrapes. There is a small crack by one of the inside handle of the pop top, but it doesn't appear to be an issue- I'm just noting it. The pop up is clean, works properly, and all the material is in good condition. Mechanically-this is a very sound unit. The oil has been changed, the brakes are @60% in the front and 40% in the rear. I just put a new battery in it. The tires are Michelins but have a couple of flat spots on them- probably because the van has been sitting in a garage for the past 5 years. All the gauges work properly. The glass is good all the way around. The right side of the back bumper has a little ding, and it is missing the rubber corner guard. One hub cap is missing. I see no rust corrosion on the van. CA residents must pay CA sales tax and dmv fees of $175 to register the van. The vehicle is sold as is where is with no implied warranty of anykind.
