Vehicle Detail
1970 Plymouth Fury. Color - Brown. Engine - 383. It has factory AC which probably does not currently work. We just put a new battery in it. It starts and runs just fine but it has been sitting for a while and the brakes are frozen up on it. There is an average amount of rust on it but no holes. The transmission is good...runs and drives and shifts. The car is not currently registered with the MVA and it has not been driven on the highway in a few years, so it will have to be towed to your location. Everything that I know of, is original on the car. This 1970 Fury Gran Coupe is a very rare car, it was a mid-year model in 1970. The paisley roof and seats were specific to this car that year, and all Gran Coupes came with the 383 and Air conditioning as standard equipment. The odd thing about this car was, Plymouth used the Fury II body in 1970 so it's a post coupe, whereas the 1971 and newer were all 2 door hardtop coupes. If you ordered any other color roof, it was not the paisley roof which makes this car unique. This was a low volume model and would be worth a lot of money if restored. . I know that I am going to get bombarded with questions about rust and all I can tell you is that there is a moderate amount of rust on the car. I am not crawling around under the car to get minute details about the rust situation. I do not have and cannot get pictures under the hood of the engine etc. I am supplying the only photos I have of the car with this listing. The car is currently inside of a locked, fenced gate that I do not have keys to and I have to make arrangements to get inside. I can show it, but I need advance notice. This is truly a project car for someone, but definitely worth the time. Please only serious inquiries about this.
